UCLA JOLT’s Special Issue Symposium on Governing the Digital Space

In the law and governance realm, there is a constant challenge between the breakneck pace of innovation, and centuries-old concepts which constitute the foundation of our modern legal system. Some of the most dynamic areas of legal scholarship revolve around the struggle to adapt principles like “freedom of the press” or a “meeting of the minds” to contexts that would be quite literally beyond the comprehension of the original authors of these terms.

Please join the UCLA Institute for Technology, Law & Policy and the UCLA Journal of Law & Technology (JOLT) for a two-day symposium on April 14-15 to discuss emerging issues in law and technology. The symposium is organized around the launch of a special issue of the UCLA JOLT, and will feature authors from the issue, as well as leading global experts in the law and tech space.

Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments to be served. Event is free and open to all UCLA community members.
